I had the privilege of exhibiting at this year’s event, and I can confidently say it was an enriching experience that left me feeling uplifted and inspired.

From the moment I stepped into the venue to set up, there was an immediate sense of community and excitement.
Held in a beautiful, spacious hall with high ceilings, the fair was not only a showcase of artistic talent but also a celebration of Norwich’s thriving creative scene. The atmosphere was welcoming, with attendees of all backgrounds, from seasoned art collectors to curious first-time visitors, sharing in the joy of discovery. What stood out most to me was how accessible and open the event felt—it wasn’t just for art connoisseurs, but for anyone with an interest in creativity and culture.

Our stand had a mixture of urban art, and managed to show once piece by an artist named Opie on the wonk. When the piece was straight, no one noticed the car in the river, when it was wonky, people engaged with the piece and the stand.

What truly set Art Fair East apart from other exhibitions I’ve attended was the opportunity to interact with other stands and artists themselves.
Many were present at their stands, eager to talk about their creative process and the stories behind their works. I had fascinating conversations with painters, sculptors, and photographers, each passionate about their craft. These encounters allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of their techniques and inspirations, and left me with a greater appreciation for the work itself.
One conversation with a photographer stood out to me. Her series, which focused on the fleeting beauty of urban landscapes at twilight, prompted me to see my surroundings in a new light.
