I am running the 45th London Marathon on my 50th Birthday for the amazing charity Shelter.
To help raise funds for charity, Ben Eine has donated a unique 'Make Your Voice Heard' in purple. It is not numbered, instead is signed x TEAM SHELTERx with the accompanying xBEN EINE 2024x signature.
All proceeds will be going direct to Shelter.
Please note there are only 200 tickets available.
Born in London, Ben Eine is one of the most successful letterform artists in the world and is regarded as a pioneer in the exploration of contemporary typography art. Originally a graffiti writer, Eine started his career over 30 years ago, leaving his first tag all over London before developing his distinct typographic style.
Famously, a painting by a graffiti artist was among the official gifts to Barack Obama from David Cameron on his first trip to Washington as prime minister.
The work, Twenty First Century City, is by Ben Eine, said to be one of the PM's wife Samantha's favourite artists.
Shelter is a remarkable charity that plays a crucial role in addressing housing and homelessness issues in the United Kingdom. Let me break it down for you:
Shelter's Mission: Their mission is simple yet powerful: everyone should have a home. They believe that safe, stable housing is a fundamental right, and they work tirelessly to make that a reality.
Advice and Support: Each year, over a million people turn to Shelter for advice and support. They provide free, independent advice on a range of housing-related matters, including rent, mortgage arrears, repossessions, disrepair, illegal eviction, and harassment.
Campaigning and Advocacy: Shelter campaigns for housing justice. They advocate for new laws and policies, working closely with government and local authorities to improve housing conditions and prevent homelessness.
National Network: Shelter operates a national network of services, including helplines and face-to-face support, to assist those facing housing crises.
£10 will get you a raffle ticket into the prize draw, with a 1 in 200 chance of winning.
